UPDATES WITH BOND

Bond was set at $100,000 Friday for a man charged with groping a woman on Loyola University’s Rogers Park campus earlier this month.

Soroush Aflaki, 22, faces two felony counts of aggravated battery in a public place, according to Chicago Police.

Aflaki, of the 6900 block of North Greenview, “inappropriately touched” the woman Sept. 19 in the 6300 block of North Winthrop, police allege.

A judge ordered him held on a $100,000 bond, and he is due in court again Sept. 28, according to Cook County Circuit Court records.

At least three more instances of women being groped near campus by someone on a bicycle have been reported this month, according to community alerts issued previously by police. Those were reported Sept. 6 in the 6500 block of North Kenmore; and Sept. 7 in the 6300 block of North Winthrop and the 1600 block of West Greenleaf.
