A man was shot to death Tuesday night in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side, according to Chicago Police.
Officers responding to reports of shots fired at 9:16 p.m. in the 6700 block of South Wolcott found the 32-year-old man lying unresponsive in the street, police said.
The man had suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the head and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 10:05 p.m., according to police. The Cook County medical examiner’s office could not immediately provide further details.
