A man was shot and critically wounded while driving on Lake Shore Drive early Friday near Grant Park.
At 1:26 a.m., officers responded to a call of a person shot in the northbound lanes near Grand and found a man in his 30s in the driver’s seat of a white conversion van, according to Chicago Police.
He had been shot in the face near Monroe, police said. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition, police said.
