A man was shot to death in Thursday night in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.
About 9:59 p.m., the 24-year-old was standing in the lot of a gas station in the 7000 block of South Ashland when a male walked up and shot him twice in the head before leaving in a black SUV, according to Chicago Police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office confirmed the fatality, but did not provide additional details.
