(GARY, Ind.) Two people were fatally shot Thursday night in Gary, Indiana, police said.
About 8 p.m., officers responded to the 700 block of East 49th Avenue for a report of a shooting, according to Gary police. Investigators found a male and a female who suffered gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. Their exact ages were not released.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene, police said. No one else was inside the vehicle.
