(HICKORY HILLS) A northwest suburban man was killed in a motorcycle crash Wednesday night in southwest suburban Hickory Hills.
Wayne Loebbaka, 27, was pronounced dead at 9 p.m. at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Loebbaka, who lived in the 6600 block of West Montrose Avenue in Harwood Heights, suffered multiple injuries in the motorcycle crash in the 7600 block of West 95th Street in Hickory Hills, the medical examiner’s office said. An autopsy Thursday ruled his death an accident.
Additional information on the crash was not immediately available from Hickory Hills police.
A GoFundMe page Loebbaka’s relatives created to help with burial expenses had raised more than $2,100 in donations by Thursday afternoon.
