UPDATES WITH FATALITY, NEW DETAILS
A man was killed and another wounded in a Fuller Park neighborhood shooting Friday afternoon on the South Side.
They were outside about 1:45 p.m. in the 4200 block of South Princeton when someone in a passing vehicle opened fire, according to Chicago Police.
One man, 25, was shot in the buttocks and the other, 39, in the face. They were taken to Stroger Hospital, where the younger man died at 3:13 p.m., according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. His name was unknown Friday evening.
The older man was in fair condition, police said. Area Central detectives are handling the homicide investigation.
