UPDATES WITH DETAILS
(HOMER GLEN) A man was killed in a crash early Saturday in southwest suburban Homer Glen.
Someone driving by the intersection at Bruce and Cedar roads at 3:32 a.m. saw the 2013 Dodge Challenger lying on its passenger side with heavy front-end damage, and called police, according to the Will County sheriff and coroner’s offices.
The driver, 22-year-old Richard A. Ostrowski, was found partially ejected from the vehicle, according to the sheriff’s office.
Ostrowski, a Homer Glen resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the sheriff’s office, Ostrowski was driving south on Cedar Road when he failed to negotiate a curve and the Dodge left the road and rolled over. It appears he was not wearing a seat belt.
The sheriff’s office is investigating.
