UPDATES WITH FATALITY
A 69-year-old man was killed in a shooting Tuesday night in the Park Manor neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
He was shot about 8:20 p.m. in the 7100 block of South State, Chicago Police said. Details about the circumstances of the shooting were not immediately available.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. No one was in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not confirmed the death.
