A man was shot Saturday night in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.
The 34-year-old was shot in his left hand about 4:30 p.m. in the 800 block of West 54th Place, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.
He took himself to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was in good condition, police said.
