A suspect is in custody after a man was shot to death Thursday afternoon in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.
Bobby Lloyd, 30, got into an argument with someone at 11:47 a.m. in the 6500 block of South Laflin, police said. The other person fired a gun at Lloyd, striking him multiple times in the chest and torso.
Lloyd was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he died about an hour later, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
A suspect is in custody and charges were pending Thursday afternoon, police said.
