(LEMONT) Two people were killed early Monday in a single-vehicle crash in southwest suburban Lemont.

About 1 a.m., investigators responded to the crash on 107th Street in Lemont, roughly a mile west of 104th Avenue, according to the Cook County sheriff’s office.

Reginald Edward Albert Leslie, 28, of Evergreen Park, was found unresponsive and trapped under the front of the vehicle, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A front passenger, Piotr Przeslica, 22, of Hickory Hills, was found unresponsive, and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 1:58 a.m., authorities said.

Both men died of multiple injuries they suffered when the vehicle struck a fixed object, the medical examiner’s office said.

The vehicle’s driver was found responsive and only suffered minor injuries, police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
