UPDATES WITH FATALITY, DETAILS
A man was fatally shot Sunday afternoon in the South Side Washington Park neighborhood, according to Chicago Police.
The 30-year-old man was sitting in a vehicle in the 400 block of East Garfield at 12:33 p.m. when another vehicle pulled alongside and someone inside fired shots, police said.
He was shot in the left cheek, left hip and left side of his body and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
