A west suburban Glen Ellyn woman has been playing the same Lotto numbers for several years and they finally paid off to the tune of $16.75 million.
Sharon Weron won the $16.75 million jackpot prize when her Lotto ticket matched all six numbers — 16 – 24 – 28 – 33 – 48 – 50, according to a statement from the Illinois Lottery.
She bought the winning ticket at the 7-Eleven at 3S035 Park Boulevard in Glen Ellyn. The store will receive $167,500, or 1 percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
She plans to share the winnings with family and friends, donate to her favorite charities and invest.
