(WOODRIDGE) A winning lottery ticket worth $500,000 was sold over the weekend in west suburban Woodridge.
The Lucky Day Lotto ticket matched all five numbers – 07 – 10 – 14 – 23 – 34 – in Sunday’s evening drawing, according to a statement from the Illinois Lottery. It was sold at the Mobil gas station at 1940 W. 75th St. in Woodridge.
The winner, who has not yet come forward, has one year from the drawing date to claim the prize at one of the Illinois Lottery’s prize centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights. The gas station will receive a bonus of $5,000, or 1 percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
