A man in his 20s was shot and killed Wednesday night in the Marquette Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side, according to Chicago Police.
About 8:45 p.m., he was standing in an alley in the 3000 block of West Marquette when someone in a black car opened fire, hitting the man in the head and groin, police said.
He died at the scene, police said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office did not immediately confirm the death.
No one was in custody for the shooting.
