UPDATES WITH AUTOPSY RESULTS
A man and woman were found shot to death Monday morning in a home in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.
Officers responded to a call of a person shot at 7:36 a.m. inside a home in the 2500 block of West 46th Street, according to Chicago Police.
A 33-year-old woman was found shot in the torso and a man, thought to be between 20 and 30 years old, was shot in the head, police said. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Autopsies Tuesday ruled both of their deaths homicides, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Their names have not yet been released.
