A woman was shot early Sunday on the Near West Side.
About 1:41 a.m., the 23-year-old woman was sitting in a car in the 2300 block of West Jackson when a vehicle drove by and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police.
She was shot in the back and taken to Stroger Hospital, where her condition was stabilized, police said.
