(JOLIET) A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle early Sunday in southwest suburban Joliet.
Paul L. Loyd, 52, suffered multiple injuries when he was struck by the vehicle near Route 53 and Laraway Road, according to the Will County coroner’s office.
Loyd, who lived in Wyoming, was pronounced dead at 5:51 a.m. at Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, the coroner’s office said.
Additional information from Joliet police was not immediately available early Tuesday.
