A man was shot Wednesday evening and died two days later in the West Side Lawndale neighborhood.
At 6:35 p.m., the 54-year-old man was driving a vehicle in the 1300 block of South Komensky when he was struck in the head by gunfire that came from outside the vehicle, according to Chicago Police.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital and pronounced dead Friday at 11:05 p.m., police said. The Cook County medical examiner did not immediately provide information on the death.
