A 23-year-old Logan Square man has been charged with shooting a man early Thursday in the Andersonville neighborhood on the North Side.
Julian Zamora of the 5000 block of West Parker was charged with felony counts of aggravated battery, unlawful use of a weapon and aggravated assault, according to Chicago Police.
Zamora was taken into custody early Thursday after he shot and critically wounded a 56-year-old man during a domestic incident at 3:19 p.m. Thursday in the 5300 block of North Paulina, police said. The man suffered gunshot wounds to the abdomen and was taken in critical condition to Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
Zamora was expected to appear in bond court Monday.
