A 22-year-old man was shot in the chest and back early Saturday in the East Garfield Park on the West Side.
It happened about 3:30 a.m. in the 3300 block of West Madison, and he was taken in serious condition to Stroger Hospital, according to Chicago Police.
The circumstances of the attack were not immediately known, but police said it was considered gang-related.
