A 17-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man were seriously wounded in a Cragin neighborhood shooting Thursday night on the Northwest Side.

At 8:37 p.m., they were inside a vehicle in the 4900 block of West Wrightwood when two other people walked up and fired at them, hitting the boy in the head and the man in the shoulder, according to Chicago Police.

They drove to the 3000 block of North Knox to call for help, and were taken in serious condition to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, police said.
