A woman was wounded in a Logan Square neighborhood shooting early Thursday on the Northwest Side.
The 22-year-old was sitting in a vehicle at 2:12 a.m. in the 2200 block of North Springfield when she noticed a large crowd gathering, then gunfire erupted and she realized she was shot, according to Chicago Police. No other injuries were reported.
The woman suffered gunshot wounds to the back and abdomen and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where her condition was stabilized, police said.
